`2m 14s read` 1. **What did you do this year that you’d never done before?** snowboarding, archery, dancing, started on social media, and made this website 2. **Did you keep your new year’s resolutions?** actually yeah i did haha, not all but most this time 3. **Did anyone close to you give birth?** no - life is still the same 4. **Did anyone close to you die?** no - grateful that no one died 5. **What cities/states/countries did you visit?** rome, berlin, turkey (antalya) - each place gave me perspective and meeting people is cool 6. **What would you like to have next year that you lacked this year?** more "shooting my shots" (i only shot once this year" i realised hesitation not rejection was the problem 7. **What date(s) from this year will remain etched upon your memory, and why?** 15/05 - met someone naturally this year 19/11 - my phone got stolen also went bouldering w old group of friends 8. **What was your biggest achievement of the year?** made money from trading, a small step in the right direction 9. **What was your biggest failure?** being more anti social and avoidance 10. **What other hardships did you face?** bedrotting - A LOT - summer, winter - mainly depressed i guess 11. **Did you suffer illness or injury?** nope 12. **What was the best thing you bought?** cx405 camera - my old one broke due to water damage amazfit - i can track my fitness g923 - my passion for driving is now here and a monitor lightbar 13. **Whose behaviour merited celebration?** kathy and yat - stay postive helen - to keep on trying steph - its ok to be ok 14. **Whose behaviour made you appalled?** younglings - sometimes selfish and unaware people with no awareness in finance/money, spending recklessly 15. **Where did most of your money go?** piano, tfl, trading and food 16. **What did you get really, really, really excited about?** travelling, its nice to see other cultures and explore 17. **What song will always remind you of this year?** apparently my top song on spotify is be oi tu tu - wren evans - but i think this was a mistake the second is fein - travis scott - i understand this as i would blast this in my bedroom but the song that will always remind me of this year is either - crg - central cee - the legend of ashitaka - sienna - the marias 18. **Compared to this time last year, are you: happier or sadder? Thinner or fatter? Richer or poorer?** happier in the first half sadder in the second half richer than last year thinner than last year overall still stuck in the middle 19. **What do you wish you’d done more of?** dating - i need to put myself out there 20. **What do you wish you’d done less of?** being anti social, eating out for no reason 21. **How are you spending the holidays?** well since this is talking about christmas and new years (i realised school kids would think summer as the holidays but as adults its just the end of the year) im spending it a home with family 22. **Did you fall in love this year?** well... maybe? went out couple times, but never got to date, we dont speak anymore 23. **Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?** nah i dont hate (EXCEPT FOR THAT PERSON WHO STOLE MY PHONE ARRRR) jk i dont hate, a loss is a loss 24. **What was your favourite show?** spy x family (unironically didnt watch much shows this year) 25. **What was the best book you read?** the courage to be disliked what you are looking for is in the library 26. **What was your greatest musical discovery of the year?** finished grade 4 piano 27. **What was your favourite film?** chainsaw man, reze arc movie - Tatsuki Fujimoto 28. **What was your favourite meal?** shahs - combo with rice, orange soda 29. **What did you want and get?** money - payout from trading 30. **What did you want and not get?** a gf (lol) - unironically have everything i want, already content with the things i have also a grad scheme/job - just been rejected everywhere maybe i should apply for masters i wanted to travel more tbh 31. **What did you do on your birthday?** nothing, hopped on a train, got off a random stop and went for a walk took a train to nowhere and existed - sounds cool doesnt it 32. **What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?** one line blog, this blog, writing and walking! 33. **How would you describe your personal fashion this year?** loungewear, korean basic fashion, muted colours, started wearing a headband bc my hair gets in the way 34. **What kept you sane?** reading books, this website, sorting out my life, doing my own finances, cleaning my room 35. **Which celebrity/public figure did you admire the most?** unironically charlie kirk even tho he died, seeing how he debated, got me wanting to become a better debater (i dont agree with most of his ideas, but i can understand why) t1 - great team work otherwise i dont really admire celebrities/public figs, they are just human as anyone else 36. **What political issue stirred you the most?** funny last year i didnt get much into politics but this year man, i got a lot into politics after my phone got stolen i felt like ive been hit by reality someone needs to do something why is cost of living so high why is crime still high why is this country so divided and depressing to live in 37. **Who did you miss?** a lot of people i deleted instagram mid-year and stopped using it completely idk why i was going to get it back i feel like a traveller, im not meant to relax forever, people come and go but yeah its funny when people ask whats my ig only to tell them i dont use it 38. **Who was the best new person you met?** kathy and yat haha oh yeah cool people when i worked as an extra some people recognised me ahsan - great guy who i worked with at paris baguette 39. **What valuable life lesson did you learn this year?** life is not a race, its a journey every small step still counts towards something momentum is important even when progress feels slow 40. **What is a quote that sums up your year?** i got three **“Not all those who wander are lost.”** — _J.R.R.
