since A-levels back in 2020 to now (which marks 6 years) my journey has been a wild ride
lots of ups and downs, here are some feats
- scored pretty average in alevels ABC with a C in maths which was detrimental as I didn’t get into the uni I wanted to go, so I had to go into clearing
- Made 200k+ but lost it all
- Dropped out twice
- A lot of heartbreaks
- A long ass stay in Vietnam
- Graduated uni with a first
And now as of today, I got something that was unexpected.
I signed up for a masters at UCL with another application for a scholarship.
Turns out I got in.
The odds were insane, only 14 people got picked
How did I get it
I mean I got the grades, my professor gave me a decent reference, to be honest I did put a lot of hard work in
It’s crazy, why me?
The scholarship is fully paid with a generous bursary, and I’ll be studying in the Canary Wharf campus which is close to home
I guess I’m heading in the direction
We can only keep going up from here
Even when I’ve lost everything
I’ve somehow made my way back
The hard work is paying off
Thanks to everyone that’s been part of my journey
That’s it from me
